Bible

The Bible is a compilation of 66 different books, written by 40 different writers, over a 1600 year period, on three continents and in three different languages. The writers came from various walks of life from kings and priests to farmers and fishermen. The Bible answers the major questions of life like ‘how did we get here?’ and ‘is there life after death?’ In all of this you can read the Bible through as though only one person wrote it and what the writers declared doesn’t contradict its self.

Nothing ever even comes close to this. It’s like taking all the major English works from the last 1600 years and putting them together. They would not make sense and yet the Bible does.* This is one of the evidences for God directing the writers of the Bible, making their writings God inspired writings.

This is not the only proof for that the Bible is what God directed to be written. There are many proofs that set the Bible far apart from every other writing that claims to be from God. By far the biggest proof that the Bible was inspired by God is prophecy. No other book or person in the history of humanity has ever come close to the Bible in prophecy. People have guessed what may happen in the future and some of their guesses came true, but many did not come true. Everything that the Bible declares was going to happen has happened in the way it said it would. The only prophecy that has not fully been fulfilled is some of the end-times prophecies that are still coming to pass today.
