Why Jesus Christ?
19 May 2009 in TopicsWhy Jesus Christ? Because we have all sinned, we have all done bad things in our lives that God has said not to do. God is loving but He is also holy and just and He must punish the bad things that we did and do. Unfortunately punishment is eternal separation from God in Hell, but He doesn’t want that to happen. That why Jesus Christ came to earth 2000 years ago and did what none of us can, He lived a perfect life, never sinning once. Then He suffered and died on a cross to take the punishment for our sins upon Himself. Afterwards He rose from the grave three days later so we can have eternal life. Jesus Christ is the only one who can save us from Hell because He is the only one who has ever lived a perfect life. God said that all sins will be punished. We now have the choice of accepting our punishment for our sins or accepting Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross and allowing Him to take our punishment for us.
