Stories- Stroke Healing

A couple of nights ago our whole family was together in my parent’s house my brother, sister, mother, father and my son. This is very rare. Well about 2 am my sister woke up and went to the back room behind where my parent’s room is. Around 3:30 am she woke up again and heard my dad coughing and choking. When she arrived in his room she noticed that he just had a terrible stroke. His face was sagging and he spoke like someone who had a handicap. He could barely speak. My sister called 911 but was so upset she had to hand the phone to me. The fire truck and paramedics came and started to take him away. My mother started raising her voice asking me to pray, she told me to go out to the ambulance and start praying. I told her we could start to pray right now, God will hear us right now. We didn’t need to get in the way of the paramedics. I just read in 1 Cor 14 how God gave some the gift of faith, others the gift of healing. I prayed God would give me this gift for his Glory. I grabbed my mother’s hands and we prayed right there that God would open up the blood supply to his brain, heal his sagging face and restore his speech. Well after a little while, my mom called the emergency room to see how he was doing and the person on the other end of the phone said he was just fine. That his speech was normal, and he was alert and feeling great. I gathered the family together and said God must get the Glory for this. I ran over to the emergency room, it was true The Lord healed my dad. I told my dad God healed him, and now is the time to receive Jesus as his savior. We prayed right there it was great. Well I looked over and the guy next to him was in really bad shape I asked him if he needed help, he said yes I lead him the to Lord. I went home and told my mom, God healed dad and she also prayed to accept Jesus as her savior. The only one left is my brother John, I told him God healed dad. He said thank you for praying. Praise the LORD his ways are past us finding out. Love Brian.
