Stories- Great-Grandma’s Healing
19 May 2009 in Testimonies & StoriesSo the next day the same time at 2:30 in the afternoon I lay in bed and I looked at the pictures and the same things happened like the day before, then I said “Lord I believe”. Well until that time I didn’t think I’d make it, I was so sick. It made me feel good. It still took quite awhile before I could do much of anything, even walking took about 2 months. Jack used to come in every so often to see how I was getting along. I lost 23 pounds in 2 weeks. Later on he told me I looked very bad. He was so happy when he saw me take my first few steps outside. I sure do miss that guy. It’s not the same place without him. He was good to the old people and wanted this place for all old people. That’s what we have now, but Bunnell keeps raising our rent every year, sometimes twice. We have a nice manager now, the first we’ve ever had. They are from Wisconsin, very friendly. He is 63 and she is 55. As to my vision you see God wanted me to look to Him for help and not grandpa. He was out of the picture for good. I can still see him standing there trying to help but couldn’t.
So every day I say this prayer, “Lord have mercy on me a sinner. Come into my heart oh God and strengthen my faith in Christ, make me grateful for who thou art and what thou dost do for my salvation. Make clear to me what I may be and do with thy help. God grant me courage and hope for every day and faith to guide me along the way with understanding and wisdom and to strength guide me along the way.
